HOW TO SET UP EMAIL ON AN ANDROID MOBILE PHONE
We know you’re excited to get your email set up on your Android mobile. We should have your email working on your device in about 5 minutes. Use these steps to set up the native mail app with your Workspace email account.
REQUIREMENTS
Before you start, be sure you have these handy:
- Your domain name: example.com
- Your email address: thatguy@example.com
- Your email password.
Open your email client on your mobile phone.
Enter your full email address and password.
If you have IMAP, tap IMAP. If you’re not sure, tap POP3. we recommend IMAP.
Use these settings for your incoming server
IMAP Server: server1.webhostnepal.com
Port: 993
Security type: SSL/TSL
Use these settings for your outgoing server:
IMAP Server: server1.webhostnepal.com
Port: 465
Security type: SSL/TSL
Select your required setting and click Next
Name your account and enter the name you want to display on outgoing messages.Done.
That’s it. If everything is working OK, you should see some email messages. To make sure you can send messages, go ahead and compose an email and send it to yourself.
Some Android devices and mail clients do not require sign in. Therefore, if the settings above are not working for you, please go back to step and uncheck Require sign-in, then proceed with setup.
